Listening to the Community
Ian Vassallo Hagi spent a productive Saturday morning in Mellieħa, one of the localities he represents in District 12, meeting with residents and listening to their concerns firsthand.
Dozens of residents turned out to speak directly with their MP about issues ranging from road infrastructure to healthcare accessibility and support services for elderly residents.
Main Issues Raised
- Traffic congestion and road safety in the north of Malta
- Access to GP services and specialist referral waiting times
- Support for families with children with special needs
- Environmental concerns around coastal development
"Being your representative means being here, on the ground, listening to you. These conversations are the most important part of my work as an MP," Ian said after the event.
Ian will be following up on the issues raised through formal parliamentary questions and direct engagement with the relevant ministries.
